How to Operate a T34/85 Empty How to Operate a T34/85

Post by frinik Wed Apr 28, 2021 7:11 pm

I stumbled, by chance, on this Russian-language Youtube video showing the inside of a T34/85 with a noob trying to figure out how to start the engine and driving the T34/ 85, learning how to load the gun and even firing it. Interesting stuff. It's in Russian but with English subtitles. Interesting to see the inside and learn about the basic operation of that iconic tank and hear the real sounds of the engine, the tracks, the rotating turret and the gun shot.

Now all we need to do is find a T34/85 in a museum and steal it to go on a joyride....

I'll take radio operator. It's too much work being the driver.

Good idea! That way you can scan police radios to see if there's an APB for us. I 'll be the commander and gunner and driver.

I was thinking of being in a real crew. If we are talking about a sim tank situation, no way I'm letting you hog all the fun.
On second thought, I'd want to be the TC in a real crew. I'm sure they worked their way through the other positions up to the TC spot.

I am cooll with that. I personally have a knack for being the gunner. I have sharp eyes and reflexes. Zu Befehl Herr Kommandant!
